Permanent Galleries - In Flanders Fields Museum, Ieper
DHA Designs designed the lighting for the landmark museum in Ieper, Belgium to commemorate the atrocities of trench warfare during the First World War. The exhibition includes a show area where lighting effects are triggered during the audio-visual presentation.
DHA Designs worked closely with exhibition designers Event to conceal lighting within floors and setworks, and using projection and colour to great effect.
Taken together with their body of work for the Imperial War Museum over the past 15 years, DHA Designs try to combine a visual interest with a sensitivity to the collections, to this most challenging of subjects.
